A third BSE Infected cow found

Late Monday, March 13 2006, the U.S. Department of Agriculture reported a third U.S. mad cow incident. This new case involved a beef cow in Alabama, which was euthanized after it was found to have bovine spongiform encephalopathy, or BSE, a brain-wasting disease. It was relatively old, so it probably contracted the disease by eating feed containing contaminated rendered animals, a practice now banned.
Investors in stocks sensitive to the beef market largely shrugged off the news.
I find it shocking that no one seems to be bothered
